  • clear vinyl tubing assortment food grade
  • Arduino Uno R3 ATmega328P microcontroller board

Steps

  1. Design a branched pipe layout and calculate expected pressure drop.
  2. Build the rig with the pump, tubing, fittings, pressure sensor, and flow sensor.
  3. Program the Arduino to log pressure and flow.
  4. Measure pressure drop across different tubing sizes and fittings.
  5. Compare measured pressure drop to your calculations.
  6. Chart the results and document the rig for your portfolio.
